Let Them Eat Bombs

The doubling of child malnutrition in Iraq is baffling

A report to the UN human rights commission in Geneva has concluded that Iraqi children were actually better off under Saddam Hussein than they are now.

This, of course, comes as a bitter blow for all those of us who, like George Bush and Tony Blair, honestly believe that children thrive best when we drop bombs on them from a great height, destroy their cities and blow up hospitals, schools and power stations.

I was struck by that same article. My take on it can be found at the link below, in my "blog." (By the way, i hate that word, "blog." Sounds like a bodily function.) I hope you'll find the post and the comments interesting.

Who will answer? Is Ronald Reagan stuck in purgatory or burning in Hell?

If w and Zell Miller were christian men, they would tie a millstone around their necks and jump into a deep lake. This is way beyond corrupting the innocent children.

Please let me keep my blinders on. Even life long republican voters rail against the lie that lead to the invasion of Iraq. British intelligence officers under the guise of UN weapons inspectors knew no WMD existed. Such knowledge circulated within state health departments related to home land security.

Three cheers for Jerry Springer for stepping into the ring for social justice. Jerry may spread his wealth around as much as Oprah without the recognition. He needs to play more Santana music before and after the station breaks.

Monty Python movies make me dyslexic. If I remember correctly the Meaning of Life was filmed in a strange English village. A frequent visitor to England recalled visiting the village and seeing the dog in the movie laying on a door stoop to an Inn.

Thanks for the link to Terry Jones.
Hey Steph and gang! I wish I could say I was suprised by the report but that would be a lie and since I'm not a republican, I try to avoid that as much as possible. I won't go into my theory because it's already been said too many times to count but it can all be summed up with poor-planning and the rush to act (regardless of the motivation).

I would like to say that by some strange stroke of luck, I got "turned on" to you guys here in Charleston, SC. We have a conglomerate-owned (Clear Channel) radio station here that changed formats and they wisely chose to run your show in the mornings. Although I started listening to hear Franken, you have quickly become my favorite. Hopefully Air America Radio will pick you guys up cuz you are the shiznit! Keep up the EXCELLENT work and do what you can to empower us blues in the red states. We need liberation too! Love ya, mean it!
